GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned the following two players to the Springfield Falcons, the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

Louis Domingue-Goaltender-Springfield-AHL

Matthias Plachta-Left Wing-Springfield-AHL

The Coyotes have also assigned the following player to his junior team.

Dylan Strome-Center-Erie-OHL

The Coyotes now have 23 players on the roster prior to star of the 2015-16 season.

So, Martinook made it, the only surprise to make it from the start of camp. Until we have any injuries, sounds like a Chip/Vitale/Scott/Martinook press box rotation to me.

- Both Samuelssons should see some NHL action at some point this season.

- Strome should be ready next year.

- One or both of Dvorak and Perlini, might not make the opening night roster next year due to so many rookies battling it out next camp, but I think they'll get some solid looks in the NHL next season, at some point.

- Merkley should probably finish out his junior eligibility before seeing any action in the NHL.

Well now, they each had one point, which ties them for the team lead in scoring, so they've proven they're just as good as any of Tippett's boyfriends.

In fact, if we count Duke's fake overtime goal against San Jose, he leads the team in scoring with 2 points.
