For those wondering. Go look how the oilers young guys made the roster. They absolutely tore it up. Puljiarvi and Yamamoto played so well that it was impossible to send them anywhere.and they were playing with scrubs for the most part

That have t earned it. That sends a great message. That’s what this joke of an organization used to do. U shoukd be thankful it’s not like that. Now instead these guys gotta bring it every night or they will be replaced.

Bottom line: we were told top 23 will make it. Just another Tallon lie. Borgstrom outplayed at least five of the guys that made it. Instead he’s headed to the black hole of hockey development or lack there of with Geordie Kinnear (though he’s they do stand to be better this year from a pure talent standpoint, his system is trash). Hope we don’t hurt Borgstrom more than we help him.

People are underrating that Vatrano-McCann-Malgin line IMO

Malgin is looking for a breakout-year, it's like you can feel it, he has been dynamite the whole camp.

They didn't need to try Vatrano-McCann and instead gave Borgstrom his best chance at cracking the roster with that ice-time...

Vatrano and McCann played a lot together, and McCann was posting first-line like numbers in that span... Jared looks like he is poised to have a good year too !

Really really looking forward to see those guys on the ice together, they should bring us a nice punch in the middle of the lineup...

I think that line will be fine though it is a bit undersized. That said, Vatrano on W severely handicaps the fourth line. It is once again doomed to have very little scoring touch. All because we demoted Borgstrom who looked perfectly fine on offense. He was timid at neutral ice afraid to make a mistake cuz he knew he was fighting for a spot. But that and his size could’ve been better solved skating here and getting tutelage from Barkov instead of Kinnear. Mistake.

Well he will be the first prospect hurt from developing in the minors who wasn't physically ready for NHL. and tallon didn't lie, borg outplayed no one and was invisible 90 percent of the time. He straight up is t ready for the NHL right now.. not debateable. Maybe he will gain confidence and comfort and be ready soon who knows..
