Think you answered it yourself. Full rebuid mode, Sid Crusty is 32 turning 33.

Scored 100 pts last year sure. But you should note that it took 5 years in between before he did it again compared to doing it 4 times in his first 5 years.

Try and get max value since he's a big name but yeah if you're in legit full rebuild then trading Sid Crusty is the move. If you're retooling then that's a different story.

I guess my main concern is with with the return value, I'm not sure Necas will ever be a PPG player (but maybe close). I see Farabee as maybe a 55-60pts player in the future.

I could try to get picks instead: 1st (5th to 7th)+2nd (13th to 15th).

Would I trade Sid when rebuilding? Yeah, but not for that offer, that's horrible value.

I would trade Crosby for a bag of pucks and a Big Mac.
