Would you all be okay with the following if it were possible:

Drouin + Brook for Kane @ 20% retained?

Or is Kane too much of a basketcase at this point.

As a hockey player he is still solid.

Kane - Suzuki - Caufield
Hoffman - KK - Anderson
Toffoli - Evans - Gally
Lehky - Paquette - Armia

That's a solid top 9, great top 6
And all top 9 wingers can move around.

I don't mind the idea, it's just upgrading the wing position isn't the area I'd focus on. A middle 6 center and another defenseman who can move the puck.

He can go back to playing Sunday morning rec league for all I care. He’s the definition of how any kind of fame can destroy a person. He has no business being privileged with a professional sports contract.

At this point Is eichel even being traded?
If I’m Bergevin, live and die with kotkaniemi this year. If he doesn’t produce , it’s pretty much the end.
don’t give up any assets for a short term solution
