I think its probably one of the tougher decisions MB will have to make in his entire tenure.

Do you trade KK plus some assets for PLD? KK might very well become a better player than PLD, but he also might not. I think if you want to win the cup this year, you try and make that type of trade. But I could also see it haunting the Habs down the road.

Its a tough one and I fault nobody for not wanting to trade KK for PLD. Suzuki should obviously be a hard no.

Well said... Though the comment about Suzuki I'd say only applies assuming CBJ would expect Suzuki ++... 1:1, or with a small +, that's still a tough call imo. PLD is the impact C we hope Suzuki will become, plus the size.

PLD won’t cost that much, it’ll be two NHL ready assets + pick/prospect maximum - and one of the assets will be a cap hit equalizer

Yea I agree. Danault Armia Caufield 1st is my max for PLD.

If it's all it takes you jump on that phone ,big time. I like Danault a ton but PLD is just better in every way, including age. We'd be idiots not to do it.
