Vegas has the most appealing prospects.

They really don't. Glass and Brannstrom will not be traded, which leaves Hague as the only potential impact player left.

Coghlan, Dugan and Elvenes also interest me, but as secondary pieces.

If we're not getting Hague in the deal, Stone should not be traded to Vegas.

So question to Sens fans (I asked this on Twitter)

Lets say the Sens decide not to trade Stone and go all in to try and re-sign him after the deadline. They fail to do so and Stone walks for nothing.

Are we ok for the possible scenario if they do not trade him today? (i.e. we are given a little hope that they are trying).

I am not sure Stone wants to be here under Melnyk (not sure many do) so I do not know if the Sens can sign Stone even if the numbers are exactly what Stone wants
Nope. Only one possible situation I'm okay with – Stone re-signing today. Anything else can only be described as a colossal failure.

Cutting player costs to the bare absolute league-legal minimum.

Remember: this isn't a rebuild. It's a fundamental change of the business structure of the organization.
What is the point of cost cutting if you arent going to get a sniff at actual profit lol

Dorion is waiting too long on Stone. Teams are moving on to other options.
