In nhl 19 for anything. I miss the good old days trading him straight up for draisaitl and a first.

My bet is that at a minimum Duchene and Dzingel are traded and we dont get a 2019 1st through these or any trades. Get the feeling we will be getting 2020 picks.

Garrioch is not reliable. I have no faith that Dorion a make good trade for the sens future. They need players not picks. Defence should be their top priority. There are no defence prospects in the system.

He's reliable in that it seems like he is fed rumours based on things that are going to happen, maybe as a payment for his services as the Senators minister of propoganda.

He is not reliable in a sense that a lot of his reporting seems in my opinion like it has to do with manufacturing a narrative for the team.

There are still useful things that come out of his segments in terms of following Sens rumours, you just have to read between the lines.

I didn't hear him say sens want a 1st for Dzingel. What I recall was him saying that they'll try to sign Stone and Duchene but that Dzingel would be an attractive piece for contenders so he's not sure about him.

I remember him saying the team might look to move veteran players like Ceci, Smith, Andy with the losing streak going on. Said something like patience is running out.

I don't recall anything about him saying a deal was close.

Stone to Minnesota for 2019 1st + Charlie Coyle + Louie Belpedio

Dzingel + 2020 6th to Edmonton for 2019 2nd + 2019 7th + Ryan Spooner + C prospect

Will he cost money?

He's on a 1 way deal next season for 700k.

Theoretically, he does not cost us anything if we are confident he'll be in the NHL. If he is in danger of ending up in the AHL, he costs us a few 100k compared to what a veteran AHLer usually makes.
