Ovie's cap hit isn't worth is right now. And I'm one of Ovie's biggest fans. He's playing like a guy with a 3-4 million dollar cap hit. No where near the money he's getting paid right now.

I really hope he turns it around but it really doesn't look good.

He seems to have lost his passion a bit - he has the Heatley syndrome, he loves to score but when the reality of what it takes to be a winner in the NHL and not just a scorer set in, he seemed to not want to take that next step and be that player - still a big fan but OV is not the player he used to be

Ovechkin would flurish in this system no matter what anyone says. Maclean plays an uptempo offensive game, and Spezza would be that guy to give him back his passion. Him, Spezza Karlsson on the PP....... may not like the price, pretty sure they would ask for Cowen as a main piece

They would ask for much more than Cowen. They would likely "ask" for Karlsson, Ovechkin is their Crosby, whether his play resembles it or not.
