There was some a couple weeks ago when Klefbom was struggling... but right now it's just talking and looking at why Edmonton seems to be scouting us so much.

He's always been a big minute guy once he was established in the league. The only thing that's really changed is Babcock loves him on the PK (which btw Leafs are the 6th best in the league) If anything I agree he could use some help on the PK to lessen his load.

Yeah, still struggling to think of anything between Maroon (doesn't make sense), Klefbom, Leivo, Johnsson, Pickard and Soshnikov as names they might be interested in. Montoya has been pretty bad in Edmonton. Leivo doesn't need scouting, just game tape from the last 2 years.

Yeah, he's definitely been leaned on a bit too hard there. Not exactly a young buck anymore either.

Normally would agree on not moving Johnsson but Klefbom is a pretty good player. Health seems to be a concern for him but maybe getting out of the West would be better for him.

Just adding to any speculation of people wanting him.

I don't see the fit at the moment. I believe that they ride Gardiner's contract out and then at that point, Dermott is ready for top 4 minutes.
