Trade I made got Prostested

Ok so here is the deal. I have more center depth than I know what to do with. J. Staal Stepan, Duchene Strome, Nyquist and Galchenyuk. I have barely any Defensemen. Niskanen, Daley, Gormley, Mike Weber etc..

Here is the Trade I made

I gave RNH and D. Rundblad and received Slava Voynov back. Please note that it is a points league and Voynov is ahead of RNH at this point in the season.

I don't think that trade is bad at all. I like leagues where the Commish decides on the deals (providing he has some hockey intelligence).

I've been in leagues where other teams will vote against trades that benefit teams for one reason or another. If that were your case, I'm guessing the league protested because you were adding depth to your defense and getting rid of some of your excess.

Is this a one year league? If it's a keeper then I can see why it got protested. If not it's a good move.
