I would've gone into next season with Lindback + veteran. Lindback, while not a star calibre "prospect", was starting to look good before his injury and he's been rather clutch when the games have been on the line(10-7-1 record). There was always gonna be a transition period going from playing 15 games in a season to a 50 game+ pace. I'm really surprised they wanted Bishop initially and for that price even more so.

LOL, Holmgren admitted getting rid of Bobrovsky was a mistake. Most GMs won't come out and not only admit their own stupidity, but also implicitly throw their current goaltenders under the bus while doing so.

So NYR trade for "super-star" Nash with their depth
