Id consider that for sure... but i assume toronto would want manson if nylander is comin here.

But rakell + pick/prospect would help toronto free up cap for a dmen, and anahiem gets a great young winger.

If you're going to move Rakell for a non-futures asset, you need to be looking to get a top pairing defenseman back IMO

Funny enough, my guess is exactly what you have, but one round later for all the picks.

I don't really see how Shore, MDZ or Rowney get anything higher than a 5th / 6th.

Namestikov can fill in at center but he's more of a winger, perhaps a different market.

This deal sending Pageau to the Isles will likely turn a few team's attention more to Grant.

I'm confident he'll return at least a 3rd. The center market is pretty bare and Grant is exactly the type of guy team's are looking for at playoff time.

A top 100 pick (in a strong draft) in exchange for a veteran signed to a minimal one year deal, is a nice coup. It's even better if we can sign him again this summer.

I think he's made a name for himself this year. After his first breakout a couple years ago, people thought maybe it was a fluke. This year has pretty much removed that doubt.

I'm interested to see what we can get for him

I like it for the Canes. Haula is a pending UFA. Wallmark is nothing special. Priskie has potential.

For real though, we're lucky it's a very weak market for C this year. And honestly, I would be thrilled if Grant went to a Cup-winning team.
