Hopefully everyone that has value, and isn't in the long term plan (Vermette, Z, Korpi, possibly Gagner, Hanzal, Yandle, etc) can be moved. I would like to see at least another first coming back (be it 15' or 16').

Listening to Tip's recent comments, it seems like he has had it with the way GMDM has handled this team this year. I have never heard him direct comments the way he did after this game, almost suggesting that players deserved to be treated better than to be left hanging.

Interesting... Maybe Tip would like to be release from his contract to move on to a team that has a more immediate chance of contending.

I'm fairly certain he will do exactly that, especially if Babcock goes to Toronto. He will double his salary in doing so, and the Coyotes will be happier with a coach that wants to work with a youth movement.

I think Tip is one of the top coaches in the NHL, as must you if you think the Red Wings would hire him. I also think Tip leaving will be a loss for the Coyotes, but probably a win for Tip in terms of chasing a cup.

I would personally keep Tip, but seriously reevaluate whether GMDM stays after the trade deadline. Not sure I want him at the helm for the draft and start of free agency, but its hard to really blame him if this is a team that operates with an actual cash salary team cap of something around $55M.

His two biggest mistakes were giving Smith a NMC, plus the term, and cutting ties with Riberio and not getting anything in return, while having $2M of dead money on a cap floor team. Those two moves likely get him fired before next season unless he truly pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

Been saying that's a possibility and not just an issue for the Coyotes. I'd bet there's a couple that could still move but more likely as part of a larger deal and not simply for a rental.
