Yes, I think Boston's building availability meant that Thursday would be game 1

Playoffs start April 10th and with a concert scheduled for Wednesday at TD Gardens, the Leafs/Bruins series will start Thursday!

Happened in 2013, 2017, and 2018.

In fact, in 2013 the series started on a Wednesday and they still played game 2 on Saturday.

Well I don’t think those dates are confirmed so I expect we won’t see any b2bs but it’s pretty much a given the first two games are Thursday and Saturday

Yeah, it’d be crazy to have a back-to-back in any situation, let alone towards the end of a series.

My guess is it’ll be Thursday-Saturday-Monday-Wednesday-Saturday-Monday-Wednesday. Unless the above is correct and they go with a Friday-Sunday (afternoon)-Tuesday split to end the series. At which time I would hope Rogers pushes back hard.
