I'm a nervous wreck today. If we lose to them I won't be able to stand it.

Hope Budaj can come up big.

Yeah really rolling dice here tho...Budaj 3 games in 4 nights.
Then Kings on 3rd, so possible 4 games in 6 nights for Budaj...lol
THEN games on 5th 6th 8th

Price is goin on road trip..so maybe he gets Kings...but this is what worries me most.(Price's health coming down stretch)

If price can't play we are going to have to dress tokarski for a game IMO.

Should have started him tonight, and monitor the situation.
Budaj 3 games in 4 night is asking a lot .

If Price gets re injured vs Kings (knock on wood),Budaj going 6 games 9 nights? lol ya his groin will be screwed next...he isn't use to that load in his Montreal days.

Might have to run with Dustin down the stretch as number 1 eh...lol

If they have any intention at all of Tokarski ever playing in the NHL, he needs to get a start or two. If not, they have to roll with Buda.

Tokarski might get some game time if Budaj gets ripped.

Going to be at the game tonight, but first, a little history. These are the last five Leafs/Habs games I've been to at the phonebooth:

2013-10-01: Leafs - 4, Habs - 3 (Five fights, one downed Parros)
2013-02-09: Leafs - 6, Habs - 0 (Grabovski biting incident)
2013-01-19: Leafs - 2, Habs - 1 (Nothing memorable)
2012-03-03: Leafs - 3, Habs - 1 (Carlyle's first game, Grabo with 2G+1A)
2011-10-22: Leafs - 5, Habs - 4 (OT) (Grabovski OT Winner)

Sorry, guys. What happens tonight is my fault. :(

I guess the law of averages is on our side, can't keep losing to these guys at home. I say Budaj shines and we win 5-2.

If Tokarski continues to be Hamilton's MVP and an AHL All-Star, I doubt they offer Budaj another contract. He's definitely ready for back-up duties.

I don't see why we shouldn't get Tokarski at least a game. This would be THE perfect time. Maybe it would be throwing him to the wolves, but who knows, maybe he's ready. Let Price heal. We need him for the Boston game.

You're jinxing it. Now Toronto will lose. Jeezz

Anyways, whats up with Price? All i heard was lower body injury day to day. Luckily your offense has woken in his absence.

Galchenyuk - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallagher
Bourque - Eller - Weise
Moen - Briere - Parros

Markov - Emelin
Gorges - Subban
Murray - Tinordi

this confirmed line up is the biggest we can get with what we currently have. No small guys on the blue line, and only 5 small guys in our top 12.

Therefore, if we lose tonight, all ya'll people complaining that our problem is SIZE, you would be proven wrong.

If Budaj can play well and not allow soft goals, Habs have a chance.

I'm most concerned about cross crease passes leading to a gaping net. This always happens with the leafs. We never seem to be able to pick up their forwards. Every single D man needs to be better at this. Either they go for the same guy, or they all leave him (including the fwd who should of had him).

We need puck luck and some sniping. I think Briere has been trending upwards. Pacioretty is due, as is PK. Looking forward to him rebounding -- I think he knows how bad he screwed up on that play.

Also, what is the deal with this excuse that players (including around the league) are still adjusting to the time difference. I travel a ton between Canada and Asia and I can't believe some of them are still jet lagged considering they're in godly physical shape. (Which minimizes the effect if anything.)

Is this Boods's first Sat night start at home vs. the laffs on HNIC? Maybe the other time was the bruins and he won. So wish we had a healthy Prust, i.e., the Prust of last year before injury #1.
