Have to feel pretty good about this effort. No quit after a goal that could have been back breaking. Defense did the best of their ability

Matthews physicality has been noticeable lately. Maybe he realizes that playing mean and heavy actually makes his own life easier.

Angry Kapanen is a good Kapanen. He needs to play with that chip on his shoulder. He’s not really a finesse guy.

Engvall isn’t as sharp as when he first got here. Has a kind of annoying tendency of reversing the puck even in clear situations where he needs to just chip it in deep like on that scrum late in the third.
