The player I target is Alex Tuch. The perfect 2 RW.

Krug is exactly what VGK need on their D corps.

Vegas has Stone and Smith so they have their 1,2 RW's. Won't hurt them more than it helps.

George is in full win now mode. Would probably even throw in a second rounder.

Cap hit not an issue.

No use keeping a PP specialist when you don't get PP's when it counts the most.
I’m crappy at trade scenarios. However I would give a lot to have Tuch on this team. Don’t think I’ve ever watched a Vegas game and not thought 1) how did they get a talent like that in ED, and 2) how do we get him in Boston.

Totally agree on Tuch. We won’t trade Krug it’s Cup time. Moore and Zaboril. Great cap hits for Vegas they need it. would give them Senyshyn if we had to

If I'm his agent I'm going after 8-9m per year somewhere to set his family up forever. I don't see Sweeney doing that.

Then again I've been shocked at the discounts others took. But this contract is the most important one of his career, and probably the last big one. You can't really compare to the discounts younger Bruins took.

Who are the most over/underrated players in the NHL?

Greg Wyshynski and Emily Kaplan break down Carey Price and Erik Karlsson as the most overrated, and Sean Couturier and Torey Krug as the most underrated players in the NHL.

Alex Tuch would get Blake Wheeler/Jimmy Hayes’d here unfortunately. Wires cross in this fan base when anyone is 6’4 or above and doesn’t run players through walls. Just a reality in Boston for some reason.

I also believe Krug is worth much more to the team that he would be this year.

If he wants 8 M his last game with Bruins will be mid June 2020

With expansion, salary cap, and several left shot defenseman on way he could price himself out

They use his skills all year while the kids develop

I do think he signs 6/40.5 M

I easily give him this 6/40.5M deal.

He wants too much? Bruins take a hit next year on PP but his allotted ~7M to give elsewhere and a couple of primed ELC LD to step in with UV-Lauzon.

I like it either way even if I prefer Krug to stay. Elite.

Krug is a Bruins 2019-20 deal or not

Let’s see what happens they want him and Coyle

I think they get both

I'd like to see this, but man, with all of his comparables signing significantly bigger deals it feels less and less likely.

7x6.5 for Faulk. Krug a WAY more valuable guy than Faulk.
The only plus Faulk has on Krug is that he's a righty. Otherwise he's a pretty average defenseman who is coasting on his one year of PP success.

Yup. This screams "bye bye" Torey... if you ask me.... although I'm biased and thought/hoped for that prior to Faulk getting that deal... but still. Torey on the open market can/will get 8-9 mil per easy. I just can't see the Bruins doing that.

Yup don’t want to give krug any more than that as a contract. If Faulk is getting a 2nd pairing shut down defender and a top 50 prospect, trade krug now.

Well if you agree, why are you still offering unproven players?
Unproven prospects can bring huge returns. Just have to give the good ones up. Vegas traded their best prospect D man in the Stone deal. Vakk and Moore would be a decent return. What would you give up?
