Adds more toughness, strengthens the right side and here's hoping comes with a good number for a easy move if they miss

It worked out well for Polak last time too. Showed what he brought to other teams while playing for the Leafs, gets traded to a playoff team and nearly won a Stanley cup. Sure he doesn't mind doing the same song and dance again.

Excellent free agency by Toronto so far. Sure we missed our big fish, but at least we never went ahead and spent stupid money. Roman is some more sand paper just what we needed.

And a few more picks next spring.

Sweet they can trade him at the deadline for a 2nd/3rd rounder then resign him next year. lol

Gross, I prefer both Marincin and Carrick on the bottom pairing. Polak is still a hard hitter, and pretty fast skating forward, but brings very little to the table other than that. Thought he looked terrible for the Sharks in the playoffs.

This seems like a step backwards to me, the only positive is that I guess he can be dealt at the deadline again?
