William Nylander, Andreas Johnsson, & Frederick Gauthier are now the only remaining unsigned RFA’s.

Including them, the Leafs sit at 46 player contracts.

I thought that prior to the off-season, he would be out looking for an NHL job elsewhere. He looked to be one of, if not the best defenseman on the Marlies during their calder cup run.

Glad to have him back and hope he pushes for a #6 spot.

That's a super cheap contract for this year but more importantly next year. It's a decent back up plan if we can't find options on the right side.

I believe he can be a bottom pair guy, the problem is he doesn't seem like a Babcock type. But if he does stick with the team, the second year on this deal will look great.

Happy to see him back, I hope he gets a chance to prove himself in camp. Dubas is big fan of the guy but our bottom pair has a pretty big logjam as it is.

Nice. I hope this kid gets an extended look at some point this season. He was excellent in a very limited sample size last season.

Slots in the 6 spot nicely. If he shows some grit he’s in. and for 2 seasons on the cheap. Exactly what the leafs will need to do on a regular considering future cap restraints. I can see Gardiner going and Borgman, liligren and Rosen to follow suit next year all on the cheap.
