So this team needs defence so let's trade the ones we have away
Not ones of these moves have actually helped the team. But maybe
Campbell. Speed and skill will not win anything without toughness
and solid defence.

You don't think solidifying the backup position and adding Clifford helped this team get better and tougher?

Also, Harpur was a healthy scratch for the Marlies. He was absolutely terrible.

At least try to be objective if you're ranting.

Not happening. Doubtful he's a Leaf fan. He only shows up to shit on everything and stir the pot.

Exactly what this team need other small player. Slowly this team will all be
under 6 feet tall. Job f*cking job Dubass. Fire this moron.
You do know he is over 200 pounds, and 6’ft, right.
He is also a grinder and not a skill winger. If you type his name on google, his highlight is a fight with Keith.

You really aren’t very good at this, are you?

If this really eats at you, consider switching teams and switch to decaf.

He's got a lot of the dirt bag Komarov style in his game. Chippy, dirty at times and built like a small tank.

Don't know why but I got a soft spot in my heart for Finnish players, a lot of them play a Canadian style of game.

It appears that Dubas is targeting a type of player that can be called "aggressive" first Clifford, then Salomaki.

Miikka Salomaki • LW
Status: In the minors
Ht/Wt:5'11", 203 lbs.
Born: Mar 9, 1993 (26 yrs) in Raahe, FIN
Experience: 5 years
Drafted: Drafted by Nashville in 2011 (2/52).
Acquired: Acquired in a trade with Nashville in 2020.
Shoots: L

SCOUTING REPORT
Has plenty of appeal as a complementary winger, since he has good puck skills, a strong lower base and two-way ability. Will play the body regularly and also play a shutdown role if required. Can play either wing position. Doesn't have elite hands or top-end creativity, nor is he overly big for the National Hockey League game, so injuries are a factor here. Also, he must prove he can play a physical game with greater consistency.
Long Range Potential: Versatile, physical winger, when healthy.

Gritty player who throws big hits and gets under the other teams skin. Wasn't really a fight...more so Keith punching at him while he turtles. He seems like a heavy bodied s*** disturber. Like a Komarov. Marlie move but wouldn't care if he got a look with Clifford-Spezza on a 4th line. Sitting Gauthier doesn't really hurt

Any scouting report with "two way" and "shut down " Is welcome in our bottom 6.

Only problem is I doubt he does these things at a NHL level .
