He's plays on a stack team mostly because of him and Leason.

Their roster didn't drastically change from last year. It's not like the London Knights where Mark Hunter did some under the table deals to acquire up and coming superstars

He has great technique but has always lacked consistency. Going forward, he will be a project for the organization and hopefully can develop alongside of Woll.

This was a Derkatch pick 100%. He drafted him in the WHL and knew how good he was. I knew that if Derkatch had the chance at him, he'd be someone the Leafs would take eventually.

About time it happened though. It was the Leafs' worst kept secret.

About damn time. For all the comments about him playing for a stacked team, couldn't be anymore wrong. Him and Leason are the reason they're doing this good. The overall roster turnover wasn't that much from last year.
