That's what gets me. Hawk fans say Brennan was a huge part of Rockford's roster and that this is a downgrade overall. I love this because it fills a hole and Brennan is a great AHL PP QB.

TJ is definitely needed on the Marlies, they have no one outside of percy that can carry / score from the back end.

abbot becomes the guy outside with the forwards we have added in Nylander, Leipsic etc.

Injuries/trades have changed the Marlies situation and he may have wanted a last look at the NHL which he wasn't going to get here
