Very interesting. Also note how a guy like Benzema (he was second at age 20, 21, and was 4th when Ronaldo joined at age 24+5 months) drowns when Ronaldo arrives at Real. Or how some guys started very slow (Cavani) or started very quickly (Aguero).

My hospital blocks videos, but where's Mbappe on that list?
He isn't there since it's the current scoring leaders.
Mbappe has scored way more goals than anyone on the list before age 20, saved perhaps Aguero.

Not sure if it includes international goals or not, but here's a quick list based on Mbappe's end of season scoring (just grabbing wikipedia since it's quick) of senior club goals.

End of 16-17 (may) Mbappe would have been 18 years 5 months. Aguero is listed at 26 goals and Mbappe had 27 competitive goals. Next is Higuain at 7, Ronaldo 5, Benzema 4.
End of 17-18 (may) Mbappe would have been 19 years 5 months. Aguero is listed at 41 goals and Mbappe had 48. Next is Higuain at 16, Messi 15, Ronalso 13, Benzema, Suarez, and Lewandowski 12.
Now, Mbappe is 20 years 3 months. Aguero is at 63 goals and Mbappe is at 79. Next is Benzema at 42, Messi at 38, Lewa at 35.

Obviously the time they were born affects how many goals they can score in the first few months of their year. Mbappe is in the middle of a season when he turns a new year whereas Aguero is in the summer so in the first 3-2 months Mbappe is playing far more competitive games than Aguero, but it also gives Aguero full credit for scoring 23 of his goals in the Argentine Primera Division whereas Mbappe is scoring those goals in Ligue 1

Also, situations are all different. Some started on dominating and high scoring teams. Some on lowly teams where they were the only scoring force.

But it gives a good glimpse of how careers are not linear.

Having got over his injuries Alexander Isak again seems like an early candidate for the list, he's now 19.5 and has 11 goals in 11 games in the Netherlands. From earlier seasons one goal in Germany and 13 in Sweden which makes 25 in total.

Candidate for top 7 scorer of his generation?
I doubt it at this point.

We shall see, but his 10 in 10 is pretty encouraging compared to Suárez for example, who needed 29 matches for the same feat in the same league despite being 9 months older.

Sure, but Mbappe is already exploding all those guys. That's already one spot taken.
And Suarez scored in bigger leagues throughout his career, Isak still has to show that.
