Ok guys,
I know that we have alot of different fans for different teams on this board. But my team is Nashville and my favourite part of hockey is the draft. I love to scout guys myself and see if they work out.
From what I have predicted of past Predator draft picks, I want to see how it compares to what you guys think,

Who are the top 5 draft picks that the Predators have ever drafted in order?
I will post mine but first I want to see what you prospect experts think before I influence anyone.

Thank you guys,

The original poster was asking for your list of top 5 Predators picks.

Here's my list, based on how they turned but also potential for more recent guys.

1. Dan Hamhuis
2. Ryan Suter (Unfair to have two amazing defence prospects like that :( )
3. David Legwand (Considering the 98 draft was pretty weak, it's good that they made out with him. In retrospect though, Gagné or Tanguay would have been better 1st round choices but based on who was around him and how he's turned out, it was a good choice. )
4. Alexander Radulov (I think he is going to be a star. He's been lights out in the Q, and I remember seeing him at the Canada-Russia challenge and he brilliant there too.)
5. Martin Erat (Kidding aside, for a 7th round pick, he is a great steal.)

HM to Weber and Upshall. Weber I think is also a great pick, but I need to see him in the NHL. (I know I put Radulov, who hasen't played yet, but I really like his upside.) Upshall needs to shake the injuries but he can be effective.

1. Martin Erat 7th rounder 2nd round talent
2. Dan Hamhuis
3. Scott Hartnell
4. Adam Hall good 2nd round steal
5. Ryan Suter

Note: This is based on when a player was taken not just on best talent
