Who are they?
Wolski (Avs) and O'Sullivan (Kings) come to mind.
Up until 5 hours ago I would have said Bell... I'll go with Erat though.
Jussi Jokinen, Andrew Ladd
Kahnberg, if he comes over (I believe he is signed), could be a big time player on a line with Doug Weight.
I think its no doubt about he gonna play top 6 foward and get a lot of PP time.
Alexander Semin for the caps as the 2nd line LWer and on the PP. AO will be getting all the attention so he could have a really good year.
Roman Voloshenko has a pretty good shot of making the Wild this year. As a first year pro he played really well in the AHL (69GMs 33G 27A 60pts) . It should be noted he was 19 and it was his first year away from Russia. He's shown he can adapt, he's gritty, can play in the trenches, has a wicked shot and I'm picking him as the 23rd player on the roster.
The Big E
Andrei Kostitsyn for MTL
I expect Kessel to have a great rookie season...
I expect Grabovsky to have a good year.
Mikhnov is a natural LW but he could find himself on the right side as well.
grabovski isnt a center !?
I agree, but we are talking about the NHL here I think. (I expect him to play a few games probably in fall (until Koivu recovers) and spring after a good season in the AHL centering Andrei Kostitsyn.
Dustin Penner is a top candidate.
Wolski, O'Sullivan, Kessel, Semin, Ladd to name few.
I think the listing of very young incredibly talented LW eligble players is amazing !
this thread has some scary upside for NHL goalies.
I like the program in Los Angeles and Osullivan but if I had to guess it would be Semin IF he plays with the alex, otherwise I go with Osullivan with an honorable mention to Ladd.
If I'm not mistaken, he can play all three forward positions.
I think so too.
