Andronov and Telegin decided to stay with CSKA, reportedly they didn't receive offers good enough for them.

On the other hand, Chibisov has signed with the Jets.

The first day of the free agency has given a reason to bump this thread a bit, as Nick Shore has signed with Toronto, while Arizona has signed Andy Miele and Beau Bennett.

Well, that was unexpected:

I've always thought the SKA VHL guys would be there for the taking for NHL teams, as said players would likely be more willing to spend a year in the AHL if they don't see a quick path to the KHL.

I can't say Knyzhov was 1 I was thinking of, but he's certainly a strong skater.

What can you tell a bored sharks fan about Yurtaikin and Knyzhov?

Knyzhov is a stay-at-home physical D, close to zero puck skills, his current level of play is likely more on the ECHL level, but maybe there can be something out of him in the end. As for Yurtaikin, he is an attacking LW, fast and skilled, but I'm not sure if he can think as fast as he skates.

Any chance Grigorenko comes back in 2020?

I wouldn't be too surprised.
