I think this year Nathan Gerbe will surprise alot of people. THe guy IMO is the most skilled USA player in the draft, the only problem...he is 5'6. The guy though is a Theo Fleury clone, awsome offensive skills, plays super gritty, and loves to throw huge body checks, plays with that fire edge.

Patrick Davis (Kitchener OHL) - missed a fair bit of last year with injuries. If he stays healthy, he'll be very highly regarded. He has very good hands, pretty good skater, and great vision. He'll be playing on the top line with Richards this year, and on the first PP/PK unit. In his rookie year, he worked his way to the top line in no time, and had pretty good stats before he was injured.

Can anyone tell me anything about Joey Perricone who played for Moose Jaw in the WHL last year?

Foster is 2005 eligible? :dunno:

I thought he wasn't draft eligible until 2006.

Yup,

I won't rule out an opt out from him, but he is 2005 eligible, he is a 2006 recruit, which may be what you are mixing it up with

Also, Tom Fritsche will be playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes (CCHA) this year.

You're missing Ryan, McKeens #10 rated prospect.

A few others that haven't been mentioned... Nate Hagemo, Zach Jones, Adam Abraham, Tommy Mannino, and Dan Collins.

Unless Heshmatpour steps up his play significantly from last year, he won't be anywhere near the top of the draft. He has size (6'6") but we didn't see a lot of smarts from him last year.

I agree, I thought Lashoff was much better. The D in Kitchner is going to be sick, as I can't wait to see Kindl, who ISS scouts have said is the top defensemen in the draft, although Jack Johnson is right there as well and I would assume will be the top American picked.

I saw Kindl in one pre-season game, and he's a treat to watch. You'll like what you see. The success of Kitchener's D this year will depend on whether Benoit comes back to Kitchener for his OA year (at this point, it's doubtful, but I can hope!) or a deal to pick up a veteran. It's a very, very young blueline without Benoit.

Brian Lee? I don't see it. He isn't even the best defenseman in his own state. He has some ability but he has a ways to go before he'd be top 20 in the USA

I would not put Gorowsky this high either. Hell, he wasn't even rated among the top 150 North Americans in the midterm rankings for the CSB last winter. He is not nearly as good as you list him.

My list wasn't ranked at all, so I didn't have him "higher" than anyone else, but I do have Lee very high, and think he could be a 1st rounder when all is said and done.

I'm curious... I know he's 2006, but how has Jack Combs looked?
