Yeah, no. Why would a 2nd rounder in this past draft be in the top 50? Not going to happen.

He was the top-ranked goalie in the draft and second one taken. Just because he went in the second round doesn't mean he isn't a top goalie prospect as the draft has come to go against goalie's and drive them out of the first round in many cases.

I doubt he will be in HF's top 50 simply because they don't have many goalie's but he will be in it within the upcoming years.

I would include Brad Thiessen over Lack

uhhh no...

Lach, Hackett, Poulin, Jones, Tokarski, Rynnas, Koskinen, Allen, Bishop, Calvin and Chet Pickard, Visnetin, Janus and Murphy all should be ahead of Theissen. He really benefits from playing on WBS.

I would include Irving in there ahead of a lot of them.

Kadri has to be in the top 13-15.

I'd say B Schenn maintains the #1 spot. RNH isnt the top prospect people, dont let his draft number fool you, there are better prospects out there.

Good list, but I'd definitely include Jaden Schwartz (STL). He got 47 points in 30 games in college. Had he not gotten hurt, that would pro-rate to about 70 points, which is elite in college. As a matter of fact, he very well could have won the Hobey Baker... as a freshman.

Schenn is also two years older than Nugent-Hopkins so how can you compare the two right now? If you want to compare them, then compare there stats at the same age, in which Nugent-Hopkins blows Schenn out of the water. Schenn was even playing with Glennie and Calvert while RNH had some no-names. Sorry, but you're very wrong on this one.

Brayden Schenn had the better year but that's because he's two years older. RNH is the better prospect, and you seem to be in every thread demeaning Hopkins lately.

Schenn was the top prospect because the actual elite prospects were already in the NHL. Now that a new crop has been added he will drop back down.

have to imagine Merrill and Morin very high on that list as well. Merrill should make a serious case for top 20 with his freshman year. Morin looks like a top 6 sniper in the NHL, have to imagine he is no worse then #25.
