Oiler fans believe mcdavid is unanimously the best player in the league.

At the same time, they try and say that drai doesn't get boosted by playing with the best player in the league.

Lots of flip flopping.

I personally think it's understated how both players impact each other's stats. McDavid would still be the best player in hockey, but he wouldn't be putting up 100+ points in 56 games without Draisaitl. Likewise, Draisaitl is still an elite player, but he's not a 110 point player without McDavid.

I may be in the minority but I believe Draisaitl is far closer to Matthews and Barkov than he is to MacKinnon and Kucherov
