Hate that people loved: The Master, did not at all understand the hype for 3 Billboards

Love that people hated: Hulk, yes the Eric Bana one where Hulk fights a hulk poodle

Love that gets ignored: The Count of Monte Cristo, James Caviezel, Guy Pearce, Richard Harris...my favorite movie and the book is one of the greatest stories ever told

Count of Monte Cristo is great. So much rewatchability. Also has one of the most (unintentionally?) hilarious lines of dialogue in any movie ever:

"I spent 13 years in the Chateau D'if."
"Did you suffer?"

I also liked “or we slit your throat and wind up a bit empty handed”

Films I dislike but others love:

Fight Club
Shawshank Redemption
Saving Private Ryan
Inception
Almost all Clint Eastwood movies
Most movies based on comic books, vampires, zombies, wizards, Disneyland rides, or toys.

I'd put Goodfellas in there, too but I thought it was entertaining but not an all-time great film by any means, IMO. I know a lot of people who have it in their top 10 all-time.

Movies that I like way more than the average person and/or not well critically received:
The Godfather III
Eyes Wide Shut
Glengarry Glen Ross only for the fact I don't know a female that can stand it. Only us guys get it I guess.
Le Mans
Any Given Sunday
