Who do you think will be #4 in points this season? I will do a poll tomorrow night to find out the top 5 in points based on your predictions. Might be fun to look back at the end of the season.

1: Auston Matthews (47.2% 51 votes)
2: John Tavares (50% 46 votes)
3: Mitch Marner (87.8% 108 votes)

5:

Mitch Marner wins the #3 spot by a landslide. My choice is pretty obvious for #4 in William Nylander. I don’t believe Nylander will be far from Marner points wise. What I hope to see from Willy is for him to use his lethal shot more often. We saw what happened this past season when Marner started shooting more, I think it’s only a matter of time before he figures it out. I predict 70-75 point season for Wee Willy Nylander.

If Matthews "breaks out" this year, I think Nylander's point production will bump up also. Should be close to the rest of the 3 stars on the team.

I went off the board and took Rielly. If he is given the same freedom as last year, coupled with playing with JT, I think it's possible he puts up 65 points (guessing Nylander will hit 64).

A reasonable pair for Rielly could unleash his offensive game. Pairing with Haisey is like playing the PK

Nylander by a landslide. All of last year he looked like a player who was ready to break out. He's got the shot to score 30 and the skating/vision/linemates for 50 assists. Matthews, Tavares, Marner, and Nylander are all going to go PPG this year and it's going to be f***ING AWESOME!

I would add Brown in a few rounds. He is likely going to get proper top 9 usage rather than babysitting JVR and Bozak at ES while also getting consistent PP time.

I bet brown has a career year.

If Matthews is healthy this year I would expect Nylander to be within +/- 5 points of Matthews as I expect they are going to play all their ice time (ES + PP) together.

When Matthews is scoring or creating great assists Nylander is usually involved and generating a lot of offense himself.
