What would be your top 5 ?
2. Saint John
5. Red Deer
for this season? all time? past 5 years?
for the Q teams that would be in the top 5
1. Saint John
Past 5 Years
1. Moncton (no homer either... 2 President cups in the last 5 seasons is obvious number 1)
3. Saint John
4. Lewiston (may be a stretch)
5. IDK :s
I wouldn't leave Drummondville out of the discussion either.
It has to be the Saint John Sea Dogs. They put up a 58-7-3 record in the regular season and just swept their first round playoff series against Cape Breton by a combined score of 26-2!
That's what you call a dominant team. Several of their players are going to be drafted this year, but I hope that team continues to produce solid prospects and becomes a dynasty. They've got a great organization there in Saint John.
Sudbury after they sweep Missy..........yea i went there
Let's put it this way, if Portland beats Saint John - it's an upset.
Don't mind him.
Yeah, I was talking about this year but it would be interesting to see a top 5 of all time too.
No particular order.
HM: Niagra, Red Deer.
Didn't realize Newfoundland still had a team
Saint Johns Cod Kissers.
St. John's Name Stealers
I have the over/under at 4 Sudbury goals scored all series.
Saint John, Mississauga, Saskatoon, Portland and Red Deer in some order. The WHL has some pretty damn strong teams this year IMO, though I'm surprised the Blades are only at 2-2 vs the Raiders so far.
It never ceases to amaze me how Canadians cant tell the difference between
One is the capital of a province and the other the oldest city in Canada.
both are irrelevant to the real world
One guy in the whole thread made the mistake, get off your high horse.
I see it all the time.
They had some high scoring games in the regular season so I doubt that
It's a tiny city that is never in the news or discussed, period. You really shouldn't expect people to know anything about Saint John.
What are you drinking over there in Alberta?
Don't mind my sense of humour. I'm just from a tiny city that is never in the news or discussed, therefore there's no reason to read my posts.
Meanwhile I'm going to go visit the British Parliament in London, ON.
fyi I'm just having a go
1. Saint John
Saint John is not Quebec City.
If you gonna correct people, make sure you are right. Saint John is the oldest INCORPORATED city in Canada.
