Who are the players with the most value from the Quebec province? In other words, which Quebec player would get the biggest return on the trade market, if we don't consider the salary/contract?

Players who have been raised in Quebec (like Pageau and Pominville) can also be included.

Folks, David Savard is a #2D quality player, who would be the best RHD on many clubs. Last year he was only behind Suter and Spurgeon in terms of plus minus, he absolutely carried Jack Johnson (see wowy), and was in the top 30 D in relative corsi and points per minute at evens. Oh, and he did that despite some of the hardest zone deployments in the league.

You couldn't trade any number of MAFs to get a player like that. And trade value, contracts aside, is what the OP asked us to evaluate.

I have to agree with that. Savard and also Matheson are very underestimated here.

Matheson is fairly young and already one of Florida's best defenceman.

Brassard could win this one, despite having as many points as Danault last year and being 5 years older. Of course Brassard has proven he's capable of more, so that's probably why he gets the nod. I believe Brassard, Danault and Pageau's value are about even at this point, so I'm surprised at Brassard getting all the votes.
