Eh I see most Lightning games (not a Lightning fan) and while it's close I still give the edge to Stamkos.
It’s not as close as you think. There’s a reason stamkos has spent the last two seasons either at 2C or on points wing

I think it's still pretty close, and I'm a huge Point supporter. But Point's defense is legit elite, and I do think that makes him more valuable than Stamkos overall.

ROR is the best forward for the Cup winners and is still underrated. Sure, Bergeron's groin was f***ed. But ROR dominated in that series.

This should be Marner and it's a joke that Pettersson went ahead of him.
I disagree. I would have had EP a bit higher than he went myself but I think all in all he went about where I expected.
I think Marner should be behind Carlson the likely Norris winner and behind Point. Then he’s in the mix with a few other players. Centers and D are just more important positions imo.
In the end it’s just a poll, no need to get so worked up about it.

I think Point has the edge on Stamkos offensively on 5on5 too. Stamkos is obviously better on the powerplay. Stamkos, while still a great player, is clearly below Point for me.

How so you view Point's defense? Because anyone saying Point is not elite defensively is flat out wrong.

If I remember correctly, Point’s defensive impact has actually been below replacement this season. Offense way above.
