He managed 1 good run with Vegas. That was literally the first time in 10 years he'd been good in the playoffs. He tanked the Pens cup hopes for years by being a trainwreck in the post-season.

Lundqvist is in a tier all his own.

After that, I went Price and Crawford, though I think strong arguments could be made for Rask and Bobrovsky.

This is Fleury in relation to the poll, but the sword is playoff hockey, rather than DeBoer.

A losing effort where his numbers were sub .900 when he got to the finals?
gimme a break, he carried an expansion team to the SCF that had no business being there. They got beat by the better team, thats it. Diminish it all you want.

yes he was awful for 3 years from 2011-13.

And after that:
13-14: 13GP 915 SV%
14-15: 5GP 927 SV%
16-17: 15GP 924 SV%
17-18: 20GP 927 SV%

so youre way off when you say "first time in 10 years".... thats 53 playoff games of having around 923 SV%.

and Im not even saying he should be top 3, but to exclude him as one of the options is just absolutely dumb.

@slapKing why dont you add him?

dunno bout that... didnt play nearly as much as Flower

Fleury
545GP
318-160-45
916 SV%

playoffs
84GP
43-39-11
911 SV%

Lu
432GP
219-138-26
919 SV%

playoffs
36GP
17-18-4
918 SV%

Longer career I guess, but I think when both were in their primes most would have considered Luongo a better goaltender. Fleury won a shit ton of games because he played on Pit. Obviously he was a good goalie, but I never viewed him as big of a difference maker as Luongo.

From 2010-2020, MAF's playoff GSAA is -16.25, and his QS% is sub .500. He's just not very good.

Did Quick win both Cup in LA? I like guys who are multiple Cup winners. But King, and Price sure had great decades, even though they didn’t win.
