I went with Johnston. I think he more than likely becomes a journeyman #7/8 or bolts to Europe, but there's an outside chance he becomes a PP specialist who can play limited NHL minutes.

it's going to be interesting to see how Staum does in the USHL next year and then how it goes for him in the NCAA. We certainly are going to need some LD's in the future. I don't know what people see in Parisi, he didn't stand out in the few games I saw with the IceCaps but I'll get to see him a lot next year and like Carr he's won a National Championship so hopefully they found another undrafted FA that plays in the NHL. Also looking forward to seeing how Johnston does now that he's healthy. Really interested in seeing what happens with Hawkey. I also like Matt Bradley if he can get bigger/stronger. Wouldn't be shocked if MacMillan gets into an NHL game at some point but he also must get bigger/stronger.

Friberg again, hes underrated here imo. Did very well so far in his pro career except for the half a season he played for us. Named U20 WJC All-Star Team also few years back. I don't see anyone else on this list even come close to what he accomplished so far, still relatively young.

I went with Staum, he probably has the most NHL ready quality (skating) out of any prospect and that one skill could get him a gig in the NHL.

is he still under contract with us? I'm assuming so cuz someone would've said something by now. I like the sound of his game but I don't think he has much a future. Would love to be wrong but hey we are getting down to the 20s.

I think we have really solid depth. On paper it's better than it's been in a long long time.
