I went Ellis as well. Last year was a very big coming out party. Shame he's missing half the season this year.

I think Ronning, Dunham, Johnson and Fitzy should make these last 4 spots, with 20th being a tie so Ellis can get in too

in 5 years Johansen, Subban, and Ekholm will displace Erat, Hornqvist and Johnson, but I do think the old guys aren't getting enough credit(except legwand who got waaaaaaaay too much)

I think Leggy went right where he should. Where else would you put the career leader in every statistical category?

I also think Dunham doesn't belong on the list. He was hyped from the expansion draft but was never great. He was never the workhorse goalie, topping out at 58 games and never played a season above .500
If we're pumping up the old guard, Walker deserves it more than anyone remaining from that group. He was the or one of the primary scoring threats on the team for many seasons. Played in all situations and would still mix it up here and there.

I really, REALLY cant belive you downplayed another player for not living up to hype when defending Legwand.

Legwand is ONLY the statistical leader in all categories because of longevity. He had one really good season and the rest of the time his numbers and play were borderline 2C/3C. Forsberg, Johansen and Arvidsson will all obliterate any records Legwand currently holds (with possible the exception of games played). He and Erat get more credit than they deserve because they were the best we had when we didn't have much.

So why shouldn't that count for something? By that standard, Kariya should be #1

And I agree that Forsberg and co. are going to wreck the record book, but when we do the top 30 Preds of the first 30 seasons, then they can get ahead. But right now it seems strange that you want to reward players for their career achievements before they've played it and on the same note discredit players for their career achievements because they didn't have a good supporting cast.

Legwand and Erat also weren't trash that only succeeded because there were no other options. They would solidly be second liners on this current Preds team.

Im not saying Leggy doesn't belong on the list I just don't think he has any business being #2.

IMO Pekka, Kimmo, Sully and Vokoun all belong above him

similarly, Erat should be somewhere around 15-17 on this list
