I'm going to go with Salo as well. Too bad he was made of glass because he was a very good player.

Oh good we finally have a close poll here.

What sets Edler so far apart from Salo, Jovo and others?

In looking at that list I'm struck by how offensively-challenged most of these guys were...other than a year or two with Edler; a big year from Jovo; Sami on the pp and Dennis Kearns way back in the mists of time, this group wasn't capable of generating anything from the back end. My gawd, I hope I live long enough for the Canucks to draft a d-man like Karlsspn, Leatch or Housley....some goals and assists from the back end...please!

Went with Salo too, I don't think he gets the credit he deserves. If he had stayed healthy I really think he could have been in the conversation for the Norris (not a winner, just mentioned as a candidate).

I'm gonna..
Was gonna vote for Jovo but then remembered Salo. Honestly might be a bit of bias but he's my favourite player of all time, so.

Salo, very underrated IMO.

I think Ehrhoff should be chosen soon despite being near the bottom in games played. He had a significant impact the short-time he was here, big part of the best few seasons this franchise has had.

Should be Edler. More points, goals, assists, games played than Jovo while matching his numbers in his prime. Edler wasnt a joke when we were president trophy winners (best years in canuck history) and he still isnt a joke with more years to go.

Hiding under WTG's bed...
Hopefully Harold still has some fans.
Even gift wrapping a goal to the Islanders (handing them game 1 of the Finals) wasn't enough for me to hold a grudge against the guy.

Seriously though, of all the people to pass the puck to on the Islanders - he had to turn it over to Mike Bossy.:cry::cry::cry:

At times/seasons - he was as bad defensively as Jovo (who was pretty awful in his own end). Still, when he as good - Edler was dominent at both ends of the ice.

Jovo was better in the offensive zone. Edler was never dominant there. Yeah, he had a couple season where he put up some good points, but he was never a true QB back there. No coincidence his best years were paired with Ehrhoff and Salo.
