Paul Reinhart had most talent out of any Canuck D man however we only had him for a brief time. I'd vote Lumme at 2 as well though with Jovo not far behind.

What reasons for Reinhart? Such a short time here, how much of an impact could he have compared to Lumme or others?

Lumme. I remember when we traded for him, and I told a friend at school about the trade and he said, "Oh man, Moe Lemay? We traded for Moe Lemay? He sucks!"

Little did we all know...

Yeah he didn't play here long enough to warrant that high a ranking (#2); however for the brief time he was a Canuck - he carried the team into the playoffs one season (even at the tail end of his career - it showed how much talent he had). Flames almost screwed themselves when they dealt him to us. He was - even at this point in his career - a legit #1 D for us.

My voted for #2 is Lumme as well.

It depends on the question. Best overall d-man skill level wise, or best career with the Canucks?

It's Lumme or Jovo if best career (before Ohlund obvs), best overall d-man is Reinhart easily.

Obviously we are only counting what they did as Canucks, not how good they were throughout their career.

Otherwise Messier would be considered the greatest Canuck of all time *puke*

Haha true. Don't know why I thought it was the other way. Lumme in that case.
