Kane has 29 goals having played 50 games in 2015, and this is playing in England, a league with a lot of competition, where its hard to score, he's not padding his stats for a top club in Spain thats scoring 10 goals in one game.

Why didn't Aubameyang make your top 10 then

Looking at his stats in the first part of 2015, he was much better than I thought he was, so I probably should've included him. It was just a rough list, I didn't spend much time on it, just from memory, so I probably forgot some players.

Kane isn't a Suarez or Lewandowski level striker. I didn't say he was, but I do think he's the best striker in the Premier League right now.

If Aguero or Sturridge could stay healthy, maybe he wouldn't be the best, but they can't.

I like Harry Kane I really do.. to me he is the best kept "secret" of the EPL by playing at Tottenham.
But he is no Suarez or Lewandoski.

I don't think you can call him a secret - by any measure, since I get what you meant - when he's scored this many goals.

Harry Kane is a terrific player who I think is the real deal. Considering how Aguero spends more time injured than playing (I exaggerate of course, but his injury problems are brutal), its totally fair to call him the best striker in the Premier League. That said, he is not the 10th best player in the world. Top 50? Possibly, I've never really made a ranking but its possible. Definitely not top 10

Like I said earlier in this thread, nobody will make a list without someone having an issue with it.

While I do appreciate the effort from Pavel, there's a few that stick out.

I'd take out 2015's Hazard to put Ronaldo in and I'd say that would be pretty close to my list too. Griezmann would make a good #21.

Hazard is still a better player than Mkh. I'd replace Mkh by Ronaldo and I'd say this list is close to mine. Boateng, Ozil and David Silva are the ones I'd argue, but that's more a matter of taste.

Depending on who you mean by the bolded, I'd say Iniesta and Aguero should be on that list.

Mkhitaryan is basically a more well-rounded Özil. Similar passing ability and passing style, very clever in his movements in buildup, and creates for teammates without the ball too. Only unlike Özil he is also extremely strong defensively. He has been extremely productive this season, too. Definitely a top-20 player for me right now.

You missed Ronaldo.

I know.

Depending on who you mean by the bolded, I'd say Iniesta and Aguero should be on that list.

Aguero instead of David Silva if he were healthy. I thought about Iniesta but ultimately left him out, partly because of injuries, partly because of how I rate him this season. I wouldn't blink if anyone put him in their top 20 or even 10 though. I know he can still play like he used to.

My changes, but otherwise I agree with the list and obviously a lot of things are just personal preference. Mahrez, if he can continue with his current form, will storm this list pretty easily.

Yes I'd rank Aurier first FB too, but I rate FB under other positions (such a weak position). Not a top 20 player to me.

Alaba doesn't really play FB anymore. And I think Aurier has surpassed Alves this season.

So FourFourTwo, which is considered to be a fairly reputable soccer magazine, has just released their annual ranking of the top 100 players in the world for 2015. You can read all about it at FourFourTwo’s Best 100 Football Players in the World 2015, but here is the full list:

100. Mohamed Salah Vardy or marhrez for me here. Took Leicester from bottom on a great run to save them and still continued their form to be tied for 1st. Vardy broke an impressive record in the mean time as well. Draxer, oscar, Luiz, alves, eriksson, lukaku, schneiderlin, smalling, mandzukic, lloris, naldo, mignolet, konoplyaka, coutinho, llorente, tremoulinas, ect... could all be argued to be included over salah and many other others in bottom 15-20 imo. Not a terrible list but not a good list. Just a meh top100
