Make your top 10.

My top 10 prospect for Habs :

Michael Bournival , Nathan Beaulieu and Jarred Tinordi , are not included : but in my mind their potential :

Michael Bournival.
Position: LW- C- RW .
Comparison: Daniel Paille .
Potential: A very good 3rd liner.

Nathan Beaulieu.
Position: D.
Comparison: Kris Letang , less strong.
Potential: top 4 no doubt maybe some more ... # 1 on the powerplay .

Jarred Tinordi.
Position: D.
Comparison: Matt Greene , but better offensive . (20-30 pts
in my opinion) .
Potential: Top 4 and will play with Subban .

Martin Reway isn't in top 10, because.. i'm not really high on him.. just my feeling is not good about him (comparison : Marek Svatos.)

1 - Jacob de la Rose.
Position: LW / C.
Comparison: David Backes .
Potential: 2nd/3rd line.

2 - Sven Andrighetto.
Position: LW / RW .
Comparison: Sven Andrighetto .
Potential : 1st/2nd line .
I'm really high on him, he should be #1 in my mind.. but De La Rose, is really amazing prospect for the Habs.

3 - Zach Fucale .
Position: G.
Comparison: Carey Price / Jonathan Bernier.
Potential # 1 goalie .

4 - Michael McCarron .
Position: LW / C.
Comparison: Bryan Bickell , more talented.
Potential: 2nd/3rd line power forward .

5 - Charles Hudon .
Position: LW .
Comparison: David Desharnais more defensive .
Potential: 2nd/3rd line .

6 - Artturi Lehkonen .
Position: LW .
Comparison: Play as Brendan Gallagher, but looks like a Finnish Parise . ( less strong, comparison only) .
Potential: 1st/2nd line , but the risk is high on him.

7 - Brady Vail .
Position: C.
Comparison: Chris Kelly.
Potential : 3rd line two-way center.

8 - Christian Thomas .
Position: RW .
Comparison: Mike Cammalleri .
Potential 2nd liner , not my favorite prospect, but he have good potential.

9 - Dalton Thrower .
Position: D.
Comparison: Kevin Bieksa .
Potential: # 4 - # 5 defenseman .

10 - Greg Pateryn .
Position: D.
Potential: # 5 - # 6 defenseman .

bold choice with Reway at the top but in a sense it isn't.

He has the highest potential. I really think his shiftiness will be his saviour.

This is the reason I like reway he has the potential to be great but then again you never know. It's just a fun to watch his development though.

Reway is the risky pick, DLR is the safest one.

I prefer to take the risk with Reway, if he pans out, he will be a poor man's Patrick Kane.

If Jacob de la Rose can improve offensive potential (to be a top 6 forward) the comparison with David Backes, will make more sense :)

I compare Sven Andrighetto to Sven Andrighetto, because he is a unique player. :P

I hope you are right about Sven. I do disagree with one person- Christian Thomas. I don't see much hope for another smurf in our lineup. I mean how many can we throw out there?

Beaulieu has played well under 50 games, has to be considered a prospect since he has yet to crack the NHL. Same with Tinordi.
Beaulieu
Tinordi
Fucale
DLR
McCarron
Andrighetto
Thrower
Dietz
Pateryn
Reway

I don't know too much about the non-top Habs prospects, so I'll go ahead and make my top 5 ranking:

1. De La Rose: I love his intangibles!

2. Fucale: Gotta love his winning record/personnality!

3. Andrighetto: 3 years in a row where he's dominant. Better prospect than Grigorenko IMO.

4. Pateryn: Quietly becoming a very steady d-man.

5. McCarron: We won't regret this pick when he'll reach his peak, very useful 3rd-4th liner.

If Beaulieu and Tinordi were considered prospect, they'll be respectively 2 & 4.

HM: Reway: Underrated due to his size, hope he proves me wrong. Amazing skillsets!
