both had decent rookie season's, neither dominated, but few 16 year olds do when playing against 18-21 year olds.

As for the 2004 OHL Priority Selection, here's an early guess. From what alot of insiders in OHL central scouting have been talking about, there are many players who might be putting out the vibe they may only sign with certain teams, so that's why this isn't really a reflection of the top players from first to tenth overall. Hughes, Staal and Corrente are the general top three ranked players by the scouts, but McIerney, Combs and Morin are very close behind. Rumour has it Corrente is partial to Brampton, Staal is partial to the Wolves (his brother plays there) and Morin likes Peterborough. But those are just the rumours around the hockey circles.

1. Bulls C-John Hughes (ON) Whitby Wildcats minor midget
2. Spirit C/W-Ryan McIerney (ON) Milton Icehawks Jr. A
3. Petes D-Chad Morin (NY) ??? (lost track of where this kid is currently playing)
4. Greyhounds RW-Jack Combs (MI) California Wave minor midget
5. Wolves C-Jordan Staal (ON) Thunder Bay minor midget
6. Battalion D-Matt Corrente (ON) Vaughan Vipers Jr. A
7. Spitfires D-Mike Ball (ON) Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. A
8. Generals W-Matt Halischuk (ON) North York Jr. Canadiens minor midget
9. Frontenacs W-Corey McGillis (ON) Sudbury Northern Wolves Jr. A
10. 67's C/W-Aaron Alphonso (ON) Georgetown Raiders Jr. A
