I put Marleau slightly ahead of Reilly but I can't complain about the results ... our board looks like we know our team or something like that.
I did too. It was surprising to see how much agreement there is in the votes. I expected more close polls but besides the tiebreaker the lowest majority was 46.8%

It's a good list. Good work in putting it together. Think I had Tavares ahead of Matthews and Gardiner ahead of Marleau. Might put Brown just slightly ahead of Johnsson for 10th because of previous playing time with Kadri, and also perhaps due to NHL experience and potential opportunities this season.

If the O/U was set at 80 for Tavares this season I would bet very large on the over.

I hope your right. My reasoning is that he will probably not see the same ice time that he saw on the islanders. That is also why I don’t have Matthews 85+ too. My predictions are pretty conservative

The list seems about right but I actually think JT will lead the team in part due to how dynamic Mitch will be on that line.

I could also see Hyman putting up a decent amount of points this year, if he gets some PP time could easily put up 50+.

It's all about ice time. JVR, Bozak and Komarov consumed around 45 minutes a game. If JT takes 20 of it, there are still at least 25 minutes to dish out. Guys like Kapanen and Johnsson and Brown will get a few more minutes but someone else is going to have to consume those minutes. Babcock will be forced to give the top guys more minutes.

What do you think the ice time distribution will be like? I’d say 18 for Matthews line, 18 for Tavares line 15 mins for Kadri line and 9 mins for fourth line.

I don't know if Johnsson and Kapanen and Brown are 15 minute a night guys as JVR and Bozak and Komarov were. Even more so for the 4th line guys whoever they are. I suspect that our top 2 lines will get more ice than usual and guys like Marner, JT and Matthews will approach 20 minutes or more (including special teams) as a guy like Barkov got 22 minutes last season. Maybe the Kadri line (assuming it's got Kapanen type guys on it ) will get less time but Kadri will make it up on the PP. There just isn't the same kind of depth this season for distributing ice time so Babcock shouldn't have any choice but to give it to his stars but with him you never know.

I'm hopeful but skeptical.
What was the last NHL team to achieve such lofty stats as these?

I honestly have no idea. Wouldn’t even know where to look that up. I don’t think it’s that far fetched. If everyone is healthy, I would say our chances are pretty good.If Matthews plays at the same pace as last year and Marner plays even just a little bit better than last year that would be an easy 3 players with 70 points. Nylander is definitely capable, especially with a healthy Matthews.

Rielly could easily be 4th depending on how the PP clicks.
Our PP should be pretty loaded. Even if we don’t stack our PP lines, our PP lines will still be stacked.

Stacked PP1: 1:30 -2:00 / Powerplay
Matthews -Tavares -Marner - Nylander - Reilly
Stacked PP2: 0:00 - 0:30 / Powerplay
Marleau - Kadri - any of (Johnsson, Kapanen, Brown, Hyman) - Gardiner

“Balanced” PP1: 1:00 / Powerplay
Kadri Tavares Marner Brown Reilly
“Balanced” PP2 1:00 / Powerplay
Marleau- Matthews - Nylander- Hyman - Gardiner
