Who do you think will be #10 in points this season? I will do a a final thread tomorrow with the results of the top 10 in points based on your predictions. Might be fun to look back at the end of the season.
1: Auston Matthews (47.2% 51 votes)
2: John Tavares (50% 46 votes)
3: Mitch Marner (87.8% 108 votes)
4: William Nylander (89.6% 60 votes)
5: Nazem Kadri (58.9% 56 votes)
6: Morgan Reilly (60% 51 votes)
7: Patrick Marleau (TIE 40.9% 27 votes)
8: Jake Gardiner ( TIE 40.9% 27 votes lost tiebreaker)
9: Zach Hyman (46.8% 22 votes)
10:
Zach “real gud pro” Hyman wins the ninth spot based on your votes. Hyman is really underrated for what he does on this team. I thought he was one of our best players in the Boston series. While he is not considered an offensive threat (cue failed wrap around attempt) he is an amazing forechecker, he is not scared to go into the dirty areas and he is amazing on the PK. The biggest question for me is if he plays top 6 minutes with the emergence of Andreas Johnsson.
I can see Hyman with 40-45 points this year.
I’m going to re-up my vote on Johnsson.
