Here's a little prediction game before the regular season's start, we're 7 days away from opening night.

So briefly put, the name of the game is to vote 10 forwards (out of all 22 options I arbitrarily chose) you think will score most points for CBJ in this upcoming season.

Why am I doing this? Well, mostly just for fun and out of curiosity to know how well we fans, as a collective, can guess and evaluate offensive talent in our team - at least pointwise.

Edit: You may also post your goal/assist/point total predictions for each player here, or for as many as you wish.

Cleveland, OH
Locks: Voracek, Laine, Bjork, Roslovic, Jenner, Nyquist, Kuraly (more due to the minutes I think he is likely to get than being some prolific scorer)
The Rest: Texier, Hoffman, Chinakhov

*I think Domi would be there if he played a full season, but between the injury and trade likelihood I left him off

Interesting poll. Went with the first seven guys, who are imo locks if healthy, and Chinakov, Tex and Robinson.

Should make similar prediction poll about where we'll finish the regular season in. Analytical models arent too optimistic but I think there is some variance among the fans

I went with Bemstrom over Tex but that could go either way depending on ice time.

Robinson is a good pick here. He was 6th among forward scorers last year and he's such an effective ice-tilter, I can imagine him getting a lot of ice time next to a Domi or Roslovic and ending up with a respectable 28 points or something.

So Chinakhov was sent down to the minors but is going to outscore sillinger? Clearly the club has other expectations

8 of our picks were in top ten. Voracek, Jenner, Domi and Robinson were ranked correctly.

Top-10 scorers by PPG:

1. Laine 1.00
2. Voracek 0.78
3. Jenner 0.75
4. Bjorkstrand 0.71
5. Nyquist 0.65
6. Domi 0.60
7. Roslovic 0.56
7. Texier 0.56
9. Robinson 0.40
10. Sillinger 0.39
10. Kuraly 0.39
Quite well predicted. Sillinger out scoring Chinakhov was really the only surprise
