There isn’t much about him that I could find. Was signed as a free agent by the Sharks in 2019.

There was this 4-year old account (desperation leads one to fish in unknown waters at times):

He’s a teammate of Adam Engstrom, so he’s a player our Swedish scout(s) would be familiar with. He’ll be 28 by the time next season starts, so I wouldn’t expect much. Maybe they’ll bring him over to play in Laval for a season.

His rights expire this summer. He basically signed for the Sharks then never came over during the COVID time.

Sounds like it was just to balance out contracts then

It's only his signing rights that were traded, they expire on June 30th.

I believe Henrickson and Sund were only name so they have something to make a transaction. Without them it would have been.

San Jose trade Bonino and 5th to MTL for future considaration.(Henrikson)

PIT trade a 5th and a 7h to SJ for future consideration (Sund)

Montreal Trade Bonino to PIT with 50% retention for future consideration. (Sund)

Make it a bit better they put name on expiring signing right that mean nothing.
