I have spoken with everyone at Center Ice, USA Hockey, Direct TV they all point to Hockey Canada but more so the IIHF. Cant call Swiss. so email is the best shot. Might be to late for tonight but we might show them that by putting the whole tourny on through CI would be of interest to them next year. I know I would pay and extra 25 or30 bucks for the tourney.

Sorry, can't confirm now whether that company has approached the IIHF for rights.

Rick.

It is in the interest of the IIHF that as many as possible broadcast the championship. The right to broadcast World Juniors can be purchased for a very good price. The IIHF does not make any profit on that tournament.

It is up to the broadcaster to acquire the rights.

I doubt it.

I still wish some company would have picked up internet streaming, that'd be the way to go for events like this IMO.
