Wilson didn't lose his mind. That's a regular brawl, happens every game. It's just Panarin 50lbs lighter, that's why you saw that "almost murdered him"

Hahahahahahaha okay man.

“Every game” lmao Jesus Christ. Olympic level mental gymnastics coming from you guys in this thread.

Panarin must be Wolverine secretly. Amazing to not even have a scratch or bruise on his head after it was slammed on the ice.

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that affects your brain function. Effects are usually temporary but can include headaches and problems with concentration, memory, balance and coordination. Concussions are usually caused by a blow to the head.

That is not a regular brawl, a normal person does not slam another players head on the ice.

A death?

thats a bit much dont you think?

I'm not OP, but I've personally known two people who have died under 30 from hitting their head. It's not a stretch to assume hitting your head on the ice without a helmet by the the hands of a guy known for his intent to injure could result in death. Don Sanderson died a few years ago from hitting his head on the ice, Bill Masterton died on the ice. Bertuzzi had a similar incident as last night and ruined a persons life, and that turned into an assault case. The only reason this is being treated any different is because there's not a large scale injury.

League needs to protect its stars. I hate saying that it should matter that he slammed Panarin, but it should to a league that wants a marketable product

the superstar may want to reconsider jumping on wilson's back in a scrum?

food for thought at the very least
And allow his teammate who is lying face down on the ice continue to have his face pounded into the ice? Wilson's response was that of a completely unstable person, and has no place in a professional environment. This goes way beyond any sort of implicit acceptance of risk that players are bound to in a physical sport.

Someone is going to Wayne Maki him at some point, and that will be terrible for the game.

Aren't you kind of pushing it? It's 3 games.
He's out for the season. We don't know how many games he would of missed if this was the beginning of the season. 4, 5, 30? Would it have made a difference then?

Regardless is it ever fair that a player can take out a player from another team from any amount of games due to intentionally injuring them and not receive consequential punishment and be out of the line-up himself?

There’s no mention of a concussion in any discussion of Panarin’s injuries amongst official team messages. Only amongst internet lawyers. Also here to help.
Doesn't discredit the fact that the guy he quoted tried to say that head injuries only occurs if there is blood.
