This is the kind of thing I was talking about btw:

In addition to those supplements, though, Guerrero also runs the training center, whose web site states that its "revolutionary approaches to wellness in the areas of nutrition and supplementation, as well as physical and mental fitness training, have helped athletes maximize their potential and maintain peak performance levels for more than a decade."

Now, the Boston Globe is reporting that one of the TB12 Sports Therapy Center's clients is the New England Patriots.

Report: Patriots pay a Brady-owned company run by suspect partner

There's no rule about signing a contract extension that is automatically void before it even starts just to get the cap number down? Has anyone else done this? Why doesn't everyone else do this all the time?
Dropping the cap charge this year means that some of his cap charge gets pushed to a future year, which happens all the time.

Saints were looking at $18 mill of dead cap money had they not extended Brees last time. Still, they do have to take that charge at some point.

Tom Brady has a stake in Patriots ownership. You’re not supposed to know that, but you’d be a fool to think otherwise.

Move along now.
