Brown=Ritchie
In fact you could say Brown has shown more upside while Ritchie has been a third liner.

Still a no-brainer for Toronto and not remotely enticing for Anaheim.
You can spew whatever you want about the Ducks situation, you're not going to pry a highly coveted, cost controlled RHD like Manson without it hurting a lot more than what you seem to realize.

Man, am I glad the Flyers went on a run, mostly so we didn't have to suffer through awful proposals like this anymore.

This proposal is an obvious attempt to dump salary, and try and get a top 1 defenseman in the process.

The 2020 first is the exact piece a rebuilding team is looking for. Hot commodity.

FLA can offer their 2019 1st + Pysyk + 2020 2nd/prospect. We win!
Kap + Johnson + Z + 1st/2nd 20(based on leafs making the ECF either year) + 2nd 19 for Manson + Kesler (retained 500K)
For all the this needs to be shut down, another TML proposal that is insane. Some tid bits for you all:
Johnsson has more goals than anybody on the Ducks roster. Played like ass the first 10ish games too. Furthermore he has moved up and down the lineup and has proven he can play on any of the top 3 lines. Likely can be signed for relatively cheap and another 3 years of control.
Both Zaitsev and Manson have comparable point totals the past three years. Is Manson the better defender no doubt but this is why Johnsson and the first is added.
Brown has outscored Ritchie, gets zero PP time, always plays PK. It’s a wash but as said Brown likely has more offensive upside if given the opportunity.
Close the thread, could care less but it’s a fair offer for both teams. One who is pushing towards a SC run and another that needs a rebuild.

Since you're being deliberately obtuse I'll spell it out.
A rebuild doesn't happen by trading off your young proven players on good contracts- those are the ones you keep.
You talk about adding to our top 6 but did not include any top 6 players in there
Both Brown and Zaitzev are OLDER than the players they would be replacing
Not only is Zaitzev a cap dump... you think he should play on the first pair with Lindholm? wtf

Leafs giving up too much. Toronto would essentially be handing Ducks our best left winger and a 1st , plus a replacement rhd for Manson, and Brown for Ritchie. Brown is a better player than Ritchie in that he can be used in more situations up and down the lineup. Babcock would never play Ritchie, just like he never played Leivo.

Leaf fans are hilarious. You’re giving up more assets but nothing close to Manson’s value.
Zaitsev is same age as Manson
Brown is 25 Vs Ritchie at 23
Johnsson is 24 and yes he is a top 6 player
If you read my original post it would be second pairing for Zaitsev behind Montour. My mistake if Lindholm is on your first pairing.
Plus you are getting a first round pick that will likely be 18 or 19.
